The Oxford University Department for Continuing Education held an open day for all interested members of the public on Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th of September 2015. I was kindly invited to do a talk on biomimetics (as well as plug the department’s courses in biological sciences).
My talk entitled ‘Biomimetics and what we can learn from animals’ was broadcast live and was also captured and has now been made available on YouTube:

Note though that the talk is aimed at the general public and is meant to inspire and fascinate rather than going into technical details.
