Teaching

I derive a great pleasure from teaching my specialist knowledge to interested students. Currently I am involved with formal class-based teaching to adults and teaching online continuing professional development in the Oxford University Department for Continuing Education. In addition I give tutorials to and supervise undergraduate students at the Department of Zoology.

In Hilary Term 2014, I also co-taught on the Developing Teaching and Learning workshops offered to postgraduate and postdoctoral students by the Mathematics, Physical & Life Sciences Division at the University of Oxford.

Besides formal teaching, I have also enjoyed giving one-to-one tuition to secondary and university students and I am involved with the Danish tuition website, Tutoren.dk, which establishes contact between students and tutors.
